Mr. Squires currently leads business start-up and capture teams developing new business and proposals at Northrop Grumman Corporation’s St. Augustine Manufacturing Center. He has coordinated and fused the efforts of Program, Business, Subcontracts, and Engineering Services Management in producing proposals leading to wins in BAMS, FAST 1 and F2AST programs as well as guiding techincally competitive proposals totaling over $3B in proposed value for H-60 cabin manufacturing, C-9 CLS, C-2 TLCSM programs. Most recently he particpated in program formulation and development for Northrop Grumman Corporation’s EP-X offering to the Navy.

Mr. Squires is a Retired Navy Captain who’s active duty sea tours included assignments as DCA in USS Mckean (DD-784), LSO and C-1/C-2 Pilot in VRC-30. Department Head tours in VAW-114, and VAW-116 as well as Command of VAW 113. He also served as Air Defense Officer in Commander Carrier Group Seven Staff, Executive Officer in USS Contsellation (CV-64), Commanding officer of USS Denver (LPD-9) and Commanding Officer of USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67).

Shore tours included stops as Maintenance Officer and Instructor Pilot in VAW-110. As well as Assistant Chief of Staff for Command, Control, Computers, and Intellegence (C4I), Commander US Naval Air Forces, and Assistant Chief of Staff for Readiness and Requirements. Captain Squires last Navy assignment was Executive Assistant to the Deputy Commander Navy Region Southeast, NAS Jacksonville, Florida.

Mr. Squires is an active Pilot who maintains ATP (MEL), Commercial and instrument (SEL) ratings, with over 4990 flight hours in 14 different aircraft including some 3500 in the E-2 Hawkeye, 560 carrier landings (320 at night) over 25 years of flying.

He and his wife Mary currently reside in Jacksonville, Florida with their two children, Robert and Sydney.
