RADM Richard J. Mauldin, USN (Ret)
Rear Admiral Dick Mauldin had numerous assignments in the VAW/VRC community. As a Naval Flight Officer, he flew with VAW-117, making two Western Pacific and Indian Ocean deployments in USS RANGER; VAW-115 (twice) onboard USS MIDWAY and USS INDEPENDENCE, first as a department head and later as the Commanding Officer of the “Liberty Bells”; and finally, as Commander, Carrier Air Wing FIVE on board the USS Independence, flying again with VAW-115.
Rear Admiral Mauldin’s shore assignments included: E-2B instructor at VAW-110; VAW/VRC Detailer; and Executive Officer of VAW-110.
He is currently with Lockheed Martin, located in Singapore, where he is responsible for Strategy and Business Development for the Asia Pacific Region.
